Welcome to the September edition of the Thamesbank newsletter. This summer has been eventful whereby one of the highlights was the Olympic Games that took place in Tokyo. Our Vice Chair, Paul Oppe, shares his experience (and passion) of watching the Olympics Games.

Home improvement loan
Homeowners with equity in their property can apply for a loan of up to £20,000 to enable the following home improvements:
- Kitchen and bathroom upgrades
- Extensions to their property
- Boiler and heating replacements
- Insulation improvements
This list is not exhaustive.
To qualify for this type of loan, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Members will need to have sufficient equity in their property
- Have a clean credit check
- Pass affordability checks
- If ownership is shared both parties need to satisfy the conditions and sign loan agreements

Thamesbank Credit Union would like to be payroll partners with London Boroughs of Ealing, Kingston Upon Thames, Richmond Upon Thames, Wandsworth and the Borough of Spelthorne, Surrey.
We are celebrating our partnership with Hounslow Borough and have launched a campaign rewarding all new employees who join us. T&Cs apply. Changes to the Board of Directors
Sarah Gardner, Vice Chair, will be stepping down as Vice Chair of Thamesbank Credit Union after three years of service. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sarah for her amazing contribution to Thamesbank Credit Union.
