Who is Thamesbank?

Thamesbank Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned, financial cooperative that exists for the benefit of a group of members who share a common bond. Thamesbank Credit Union was set up over a quarter of a century ago by the people of Hounslow. in April 2004 and we have continued to grow across West & South West London Boroughs and Surrey.

All the members of the Credit Union are owners of the Credit Union. If you save with us then you ‘own’ Thamesbank Credit Union.

Who runs Thamesbank Credit Union?

Thamesbank Credit Union is run and organised by the members themselves along with elected officers.

All Credit Unions are registered in accordance with the Credit Unions Act 1979 and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Who can join Thamesbank Credit Union?

Anybody who lives or works in London Boroughs of Ealing, Hounslow, Richmond, Kingston, Wandsworth and Borough of Spelthorne, Surrey can request membership. Join us today.

Yes. We are bound by the terms of the Data Protection Act, which means all transactions are confidential and all information about you is secure. All officers and volunteers who work at Thamesbank Credit Union have signed a declaration of confidentiality, so all members’ information is kept totally confidential at all times.
