Junior Savings Account Offer – Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility:
a. This offer is open to new Junior Savings Account holders who are under the age of 18 at the time of account opening.
b. The account must be opened by a parent, guardian, or grandparent.
c. The Junior Savings Account is only available to individuals residing in the London Boroughs of Ealing, Hounslow, Kingston Upon Thames, Richmond Upon Thames, Wandsworth, and the Borough of Spelthorne, Surrey.
2. Minimum and Maximum Savings:
a. A minimum deposit of £5 and a maximum deposit of £100 must be made into the Junior Savings Account each month.
b. Regular monthly contributions are required to be eligible for the bonus instalments.
3. Bonus Instalments:
a. New accounts will qualify for a special bonus, credited in two instalments:
i. 50% of the bonus will be credited on the 1st anniversary of the account opening.
ii. The remaining 50% will be credited on the 2nd anniversary of the account opening.
b. The total bonus amount will be based on the total amount saved in the account during the first 12 months.
c. Bonus payments are subject to the account being active and in good standing at the time of each anniversary.
4. Account Maintenance:
a. The Junior Savings Account must remain active and not be closed within the first 24 months to receive the full bonus.
b. If the account is closed before the 2nd anniversary, any unpaid bonus instalments will be forfeited.
5. Payment of Bonus:
a. Bonus payments will be credited directly to the Junior Savings Account.
6. Promotion Duration:
a. This is a limited-time offer and Thamesbank Credit Union reserves the right to withdraw or modify the offer at any time without prior notice.
7. General Terms:
a. By participating in this offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
b. Thamesbank Credit Union’s standard Junior Savings Account terms and conditions apply, except where varied by these promotional terms.
